Katt Williams is coming to Memphis this week. The funnyman will make a stop at FedExForum as part of his “Heaven on Earth Tour” on Saturday, Feb. 22.

The show sees Williams return to the Mid-South for another major comedy event. His performance comes in the middle of a run of local shows from famous standups including Sebastian Maniscalco and Jim Gaffigan, Mike Epps, Eddie Griffin and more.

But none are bigger or hotter than Williams who remains one of the most electrifying comedians of his generation.

Here is a look at what you should know ahead of Williams’ FedExForum show.

Katt Williams’ legendary run

The 53-year-old Williams is known for a run of critically acclaimed standup specials including “The Pimp Chronicles,” “American Hustle,” “Priceless: Afterlife,” “Kattpacalypse” and “Katt Williams: World War III,” among others. His most recent, “Woke Folk,” premiered on Netflix last year.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Williams has also made memorable big and small screen appearances in “Friday After Next,” “The Boondocks,” “Wild ‘n Out” and a guest role in the critically acclaimed series “Atlanta,” which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. Most recently, Williams appeared in a scene-stealing role in the Keke Palmer/SZA comedy, “One of Them Days.”

In early 2024, Williams made an explosive appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast hosted by Shannon Sharpe. In a wide-ranging interview — which became one of the most watched videos in YouTube history, with 88.5 million views at last count — he took aim at fellow comics Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey and Rickey Smiley, seemed to accurately predict the downfall of rapper Diddy, and dragged various celebrities, among other revelations in the epic, nearly three-hour interview.

Katt Williams’ Mid-South connection

Williams has been a frequent visitor to the Mid-South, performing numerous times over the years in Memphis and Mississippi, including much buzzed about shows at Southaven’s Landers Center in 2021 and 2022.

At various points, Williams’ regular presence in the region has fueled rumors that he actually maintains or maintained a residence of some kind in the Mid-South (something that is still unconfirmed).

But he definitely has been a fixture in the local sporting community. In summer 2024, Williams — an avid golfer — took in the sights and sounds of the annual FedEx St. Jude Championship, even offering a bit of commentary on the tournament for the PGA.

‘Heaven on Earth Tour’ heads South

Announced last May, Williams’ “Heaven on Earth Tour” has been doing brisk business at arenas across the country, and winning raves from fans and critics.

The current leg of the tour has just made its way through Florida and will be heading to Memphis this week, before moving across the South.

In addition to the FedExForum performance, Williams will make other regional stops at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (on March 7) and New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center (on March 8).

Tickets to Katt Williams’ FedExForum show

Tickets for Williams FedExForum have been on sale for several months, but good seats remain in various tiers and price points.

The cheapest tickets available start at around $76 and are located in the upper 200 sections of the arena. For around $120, there are seats available in the lower level 100 sections.

Floor seats, toward the back rows, start at $147. Tickets for seats closer to the stage, about midway on the floor, bump up to $198. Front row seats, a few of which remain, will cost $275.
