The 2025 Ryder Cup is right around the corner, and much has been made about the role raucous New York sports fans will play as the U.S. defends its home soil at Bethpage Black. Roars will be heard, jeers will be had and, of course, many, MANY beers will be drunk. Those of us watching at home, however, will be searching for their own way to toast the Ryder Cup action, and famed Kentucky bourbon purveyors Elijah Craig are here to help with the unveiling of their 2025 Ryder Cup Limited-Edition Small Batch Bourbon.

Bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV), this special riff on Elijah Craig’s beloved bourbon recipe tips its cap to the 2025 Ryder Cup’s New York setting with a few subtle tweaks. It all begins with Elijah Craig’s small-batch bourbon, which is then aged on a special combination of toasted staves including 75% sugar maple and 25% applewood, the Empire State’s official state tree. The result is a liquid bursting with autumnal notes of maple syrup and apple pie on the nose, with a palate of candy apples and comforting caramel following close behind.
“We could think of no better way to honor this one-of-a-kind competition’s return to New York than with a bourbon that The Empire State itself had a hand in inspiring,” says Elijah Craig Associate Vice President, Max Stefka.
Each 750ml bottle of the limited-edition 2025 Ryder Cup bourbon will feature a cork bearing the competition’s golden seal and will be packaged in a commemorative Ryder Cup gift box. The bourbon will be available in limited quantities at a retail price of $69.99, as well as onsite at Bethpage Black’s Elijah Craig Speakeasy, where fans can also celebrate with the tournament’s official cocktail,
“The Mulligan;” a winning combination of Elijah Craig bourbon, iced tea and lemonade.
