Danielle Collins reveals she’s been sick

Danielle Collins gave a health update in a heartfelt Instagram post, thanking her friends who have been by her side over the past few days, saying she’s been sick, experiencing back pain, and even going to the hospital: “Guilty as charged: reflecting on most of my trips around the world seems like one big highlight reel after another capturing some of life’s most unbelievably good moments. But that’s not always reality 🤥🤣 It has been the absolute worst being a million miles away from home, feeling sick, my back just absolutely killing me, and being up all hours of the night.” “ I don’t know what I would have done without my friends @isabeau_ruiter and @menno_de_groot if they weren’t there to help take care of me the last few days. From taking me to the hospital, driving me all over to get in with the right doctor, making me food, bringing me tea, laying in the living room with me while watching just like that, going on little walks with me, and being so understanding when I’d tell them I need to lay flat again or go to the car to put the seat warmer on my back. Having amazing friends makes the good days greater and the bad days better. So grateful to have friends with the biggest hearts 🤍🤍
The world No. 66 didn’t have a great performance in the latter part of the season, taking just one win in her last five appearances on hardcourts in the North American swing. The former Miami Open champion hasn’t given any signs of returning to the court, although she isn’t confirmed for any of the Asian-swing tournaments, so she’ll be out—at least—for a few weeks.

A casual update from Draper

Jack Draper shared a casual photo to announce his injury that will keep him out for the rest of the year. The world No. 5 had an unfortunate end to his season after suffering an injury at the recent US Open, which forced him to retire in the second round before facing Zizou Bergs. The Brit had already suffered an injury after Wimbledon, which forced him to miss the Canadian Open and Cincinnati Open, before returning for a single victory at Flushing Meadows. This was his only match since being eliminated in the second round of Wimbledon against Marin Cilic in early July. Czech Teammates Test Their Friendship
Jakub Mensik and Jiri Lehecka starred in a funny video where they tried to guess each other’s birthdays. Lehecka had a bit of an advantage, as Mensik’s 20th birthday was just a few days prior. “A week ago?” Lehecka (current world No. 16) responded. “Maybe the first (of September),” Lehecka tried to guess, while Mensik affirmed. “Yeah, it’s first of September.” The 2025 Miami Open champion tried to guess but didn’t have much luck. Both players answered a series of other questions about each other’s careers as they prepare for the Davis Cup match against the USA, led by Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe.

🔴 “Betrayed by His Own Blood: Father of Utah Gunman Helped Expose Son Who Assassinated Activist Charlie Kirk”

Authorities have revealed that the suspected assassin of conservative activist Charlie Kirk was turned in by his own father.

The suspect, identified as Tyler Robinson, 22, of Washington County, Utah, was arrested at 10 p.m. on September 11—33 hours after Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that Robinson’s father recognized his son in surveillance footage released by investigators. He urged him to surrender and then contacted a family friend, a young pastor, who ultimately alerted police.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox, speaking at a September 12 press conference, praised the family’s courage, saying they “did the right thing.” Robinson, who reportedly became increasingly political in recent years, had expressed disdain for Kirk at family dinners, describing him as “hateful” and “spreading hate.”

Robinson now faces charges of aggravated murder, discharging a firearm causing serious injury, and obstruction of justice. A Utah judge has ordered him held without bail at Utah County Jail. Court records show he has no prior criminal history.

Security footage showed the gunman climbing onto the roof of a building across from the venue, opening fire, then leaping down and fleeing into a nearby neighborhood. Investigators later recovered the rifle believed to be the murder weapon, along with chilling evidence: bullets etched with messages. One shell casing was engraved with lyrics from the Italian protest song “Bella Ciao,” while an unfired round carried the words “Take this, fascist!”

Discord messages obtained from Robinson’s roommate revealed discussions about retrieving a hidden rifle, stashing it in the bushes, and wrapping it in a cloth. He also mentioned an engraved scope.

Despite the violent nature of the crime, Governor Cox said investigators currently believe Robinson acted alone, though the probe is ongoing.

Kirk, 31, was widely recognized as a rising star in the conservative movement and a close ally of former President Donald Trump. Trump, speaking at the 9/11 memorial ceremony at the Pentagon, called Kirk “a legend” and announced he would be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
