Amon-Ra St. Brown turned 26 last Friday. This year, he celebrated his birthday in Las Vegas with his brothers, girlfriend, and friends. On Wednesday’s episode of his podcast, the Detroit Lions wide receiver shared details about his birthday trip to Vegas.

St. Brown also highlighted that the reason his voice sounded off was because of his LA birthday bash.

“Let me address the elephant in the room. You guys are probably like, ‘Why is my voice sound all weird?'” St. Brown said. “I was in Vegas. My girl surprised me with a trip to Vegas.

“It was me, my brothers, my friends. It was about like 20 of us total. Had a good dinner. Went golfing. Went at the club. Was yelling. So that’s why my voice is gone. The DJ was going crazy. Every song was a banger. So I was yelling. That’s that.”

Before their Bye last week, Dan Campbell and his team suffered a 24-9 loss at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In that game, St. Brown had 86 yards for six receptions and one receiving touchdown.

Amon-Ra St. Brown and his brothers will be hosting a literacy event next month

The Detroit Lions wide receiver and his brothers, Equanimeous and Osiris, are giving back to the community. Next Monday, the St. Brown Foundation will be holding a “Strike for Literacy” event at Five Iron Golf, located at 600 W Lafayette Blvd.

The earnings of this event will go towards raising the literacy level among kids and help them achieve their dreams through knowledge. St. Brown will also be hosting a special meet-and-greet with VIP ticket holders for the event.

On the field, the WR and his team are scheduled to face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Can the Lions improve on their 5-2 record in Week 9?
