Haeran Ryu had a great start to her week at The Annika 2025, as she fired a 6-under 64 in the opening round to take the lead. The South Korean golfer picked up three birdies and a bogey on the front nine, but four straight birdies on the back nine helped her to finish the day with a one-shot lead.

Grace Kim carded a 65, and the bogey on the 17th hole cost her the joint lead at The Annika. Jennifer Kupcho was sitting two strokes back, while Charley Hull was tied for fourth at 3-under along with three others.

Defending champion Nelly Korda didn’t have an ideal start at The Annika, as she shot 1-over 71 and was tied for 53rd. Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, also struggled in her first-ever LPGA round and shot 83. While Nelly is just inside the cutline, Trump will need a Herculean effort on Day 2 to make it to the weekend.
