Kai Trump is playing at the 2025 The Annika, and her friend, Allan Kournikova, will serve as her caddie for the event. The American amateur golfer earned a sponsor exemption to play at this week’s LPGA Tour event. It features a stellar field, such as the likes of Nelly Korda.

Allan Kournikova is the half-brother of retired Russian tennis player Anna Kournikova. He is also into golf and has won a number of tournaments at the junior level.

Born on Sept. 22, 2004, in Russia, Allan started playing golf at the age of four. He won the 2015 European World Championship and the U.S. Kids World Championship in the category for the 10-year-old division. He was also featured in a golf documentary named The Short Game, which was released in 2013.

Kai Trump grew up playing golf with Allan Kournikova, and in the pre-tournament press conference of The Annika, she was asked about him. Trump said (via ASAP Sports):

“I grew up with Allan. Been playing golf with him since I was very, very little. Family friend. There is no one else I would want on the bag besides him. He obviously knows golf. He’s a great golfer.

“I thought he would be a great choice because at the same time I also know knew game as well, so if I can have a friend on the bag and a great golfer just going to make my time out there so much better,” she added.

Kai Trump will tee off at The Annika on Thursday, November 13. It’s a regular four-day event and will have its finale on Sunday, November 16.

Kai Trump opens up about how she started playing golf

In the pre-tournament press conference of The Annika, Kai Trump opened up about how she started playing golf. She said that she started playing golf along with tennis at the age of two and reflected on the challenges of the game that she loved.

“I started when I was two years old playing golf. Started golf and tennis when I was two years old, and my mom brought us to the course every single weekend in the summer,” she said (via ASAP Sports).

“I think what I loved most about golf is that it’s challenging. You’re never going to be 100% and there is always something to work on. I think that’s kind of keeps on bringing me back to play golf and practice golf.”

Donald Trump is also an avid golfer, and just like her grandfather, Kai Trump enjoys playing the game. She is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump.

Tiger Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump. The two publicly announced their relationship earlier this year.
