Erin Andrews posted a few photos from her new interview with Matthew Stafford on Instagram today. These were taken after the Rams’ Week 10 game vs. the 49ers ended. Sean McVay’s men beat Kyle Shanahan’s team 42-26.

Later, Stafford was interviewed by Richards, snaps of which the NFL reporter shared on her own Instagram today. Andrews was dressed in an all-white power suit and kept her look formal and sharp with minimal jewellery.

Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly, gushed over Andrews’ and Matthew’s picture and shared it on her, adding three red heart emojis.

During the interview, she praised Stafford’s record-setting day and highlighted the historic nature of his performance. She mentioned that he became the ninth player in NFL history to reach 400 career touchdown passes.

Andrews also highlighted his four-touchdown performance against the 49ers and asked him what being “in that zone” feels like.

“It feels good. Obviously, our coaches are doing a hell of a job putting me and our team in position to be successful, and I’m just trying to go out there and execute. I’m lucky enough to throw to unbelievable players, be handed off to great backs, and stay behind a great offensive line. I’m just loving the experience, trying to get everything I can out of it, and help this team win ballgames,” he said.

Matthew Stafford talked about what an MVP would mean to him in his 17th season during the interview with Erin Andrews. She joked about him reacting to “Year 17” and then simply asked how he feels reaching this stage of his career. Stafford said,

“Lucky. I feel lucky to still be playing. I’m humbled to still be playing. I enjoy doing this so much. I enjoy playing on Sundays, competing on Sundays. I love practising out here with these guys.”

“I missed a lot of training camp this year with the back, and you realise again how much you love playing, how much you love being out there, and how much you appreciate those moments. I’m appreciating them, enjoying all the moments at the moment, and just trying to have fun while I go out there and compete,” the Rams QB added.

He feels grateful to be still playing, humbled to be mentioned with legends, and never takes moments like breaking records or earning honours for granted.
