The rookie running back, who emerged as a fan favorite because of his personality, dislocated his right ankle and also suffered an open tibia fracture and a ruptured deltoid ligament against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8.
Earlier on Friday, a clip of Skattebo seemingly walking with his surgically repaired foot caught the attention of fans.
Earlier this week, Cam Skattebo, who has been more active on social media since his injury, shared his bizarre take on how to eat a taco. In a video shared by the Giants rookie, Skattebo said:
“Do you like, turn your head to eat a taco, or do you turn the taco for you? Like are you dominant to the taco, or does the taco, like do you turn your head for the taco?” Skattebo said. “It’s about the dominance of the taco though, like if you’re not, if you’re turning the taco, you’re dominating the taco.”
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield reacts to Cam Skattebo’s Taco analogy
hilarious analogy went viral on social media, racking up thousands of views. The video also caught the attention of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield.
The Buccaneers star weighed in on the debate, writing:
“No, you’ve got to turn your head. If you don’t turn your head, the ingredients spill out, and that’s bad. That’s bad business.”
Mayfield’s Buccaneers teammates, Vita Vea, also shared their take on Skattebo’s question.
“You’ve got to turn your head! If you go to California and you go to … a taco stand to get a taco, when you eat it you’re usually standing up. So you got the fit, so you either put the plate on the trunk of your car, or you’re holding it, and the meat drops back onto the other taco.”
While Skattebo will return to action before the start of next season, the rookie running back continues to keep himself relevant.
