With 4:11 left in the fourth quarter, Commanders cornerback Mike Sainristil fumbled a punt, which handed possession back to Miami. The Dolphins sealed the win in overtime with a 29-yard field goal from Patterson.
Mariota went 20 of 30 for 210 yards with one touchdown and an interception. He looked good for most parts of the game, apart from his interception.
Meanwhile, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa went 14 of 20 for 171 yards.
The Dolphins, who have won two games on the trot, will have a BYE in Week 12. They will return to action in Week 13 to face the New Orleans Saints.
When will Jayden Daniels return to action for the Commanders?

Jayden Daniels suffered a gruesome elbow injury in the fourth quarter of Washington’s Week 9 blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The second-year QB twisted his arm at an awkward angle after being tackled.
Although many feared that Daniels might be out for the season, reports have claimed that the QB’s dislocated left elbow was not even severe enough to land him on the injured reserve list.
According to reports, the Commanders have plans to bring Daniels back soon, potentially after the team’s Week 12 BYE.
The Commanders will face the Denver Broncos in Week 13 on Nov. 30. However, it remains to be seen if Daniels will be healthy to play in the game.
