Travis Kelce has hinted that he will spend Christmas 2025 in Kansas City with his fiancée, Taylor Swift. He mentioned it on Monday’s episode of “New Heights” while talking about why the holiday will feel special.
“I get to have everybody come through to Kansas City, Christmas and KC this year,” Kelce said. [15:42]
While making the statement, he sounded a little shy for a moment. Kelce’s comments came after NFL Reporter Charissa Thompson joked about inviting herself to the Kelce family Thanksgiving. She then turned the topic to the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game against the Denver Broncos.
“I’m going to be with you Trav in Kansas City. We got Broncos Chiefs on Christmas. How do you like playing on Christmas? Cuz you did it last year, too,” Thompson asked. [15:35]

Kelce did not hesitate.
“Love it. Yeah, I do,” he said.
He explained that he enjoys playing while families are at home celebrating.
“I just, you know, I um I think I have a blast going outside and just playing the game,” he said, adding that he can almost feel the holiday excitement from fans watching by their Christmas trees and fireplaces.
Travis Kelce also said he has enjoyed every Christmas game he has played.
The Chiefs will host the Denver Broncos on December 25 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The team is used to holiday games. Chiefs won 27-17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day 2024 and lost 20-14 to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day 2023.

Taylor Swift opted not to attend the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh in 2024. This was expected because Swift had only been attending Kelce’s home games since 2023.
A source told Page Six in October 2024 that she was skipping away games for safety reasons.
“She is not going anywhere unless she knows the venue intimately, and it has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance,” the insider said.
In 2023, Swift did celebrate Christmas at Arrowhead Stadium. She attended the Chiefs versus Raiders game with her family.
Her brother, Austin, even dressed up as “Santa Claus.”
