Stefon Diggs demands gift for baby with Cardi B while rejecting $10,000-worth calfskin Chanel bag as birthday present

Stefon Diggs received an expensive Chanel bag but said he needed something more useful for his newborn at home. The New England Patriots wide receiver posted an Instagram story on Friday and tagged Hirshleifers co-chief executives Lori Hirshleifer and Marci Penn.

The present was a rare calfskin suitcase bag from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2024/25 line. It’s worth $10,000 according to the brand’s website.

“Diaper bag perhaps? Might need a couple.😂😂 Thank you so much ❤️,” Diggs wrote on Friday.

Diggs turned 32 on Saturday, a few weeks after he and Cardi B welcomed their baby boy. The rapper announced the news on Nov. 19, posting the first photos of their son wearing Patriots-themed clothes.

She confirmed his birthday as Nov. 4 and added a teddy bear, red heart and football emojis. Diggs replied in the comments section.

“Proud of you boo butt !!!! Love you ❤️” and “There he issssssss,” Diggs wrote on Instagram.

Diggs is playing in his first season with New England. The Patriots (10-2) have won nine straight games and are on top of the AFC East.

Cardi B hyped him up again by posting a message on Saturday, including a photo of Diggs in his uniform.

“It’s grind season now… STRAIGHT PAIN,” Cardi B wrote.

Cardi B celebrated Stefon Diggs’ birthday on Sunday by giving him a custom football-themed cake. She posted an Instagram story, showing a Snoopy figure holding a football on top of a field. The cake also had white yard lines from 10 to 60 and red-and-blue colors to match the New England Patriots.

“No.8 HAPPY BIRTHDAY” was written in big red letters to represent Diggs’ jersey number.

“But have a little cake … HBD Stefon Diggs,” Cardi B wrote.

There was a small helmet beside Snoopy with a design similar to the team’s logo. Diggs reposted the video on his story.

“We back outside soon,” Diggs wrote.

Diggs entered the NFL in 2015 and started his professional career with the Minnesota Vikings.
