“I don’t live in my phone”: Kayla Nicole calls out dating red flag 58 days after Travis Kelce’s ‘get off your phone’ video resurfaced online

“I don’t live in my phone”: Kayla Nicole calls out dating red flag 58 days after Travis Kelce

Kayla Nicole revealed a dating habit she now thinks is a major red flag. During her appearance on “CultureCon Uncut” on Nov. 26, Nicole was asked to name something that looks green at first but later backfires.

In response, she said it is men who expect you to answer every call and text right away.

“Like at first, when a guy is overly communicative and always available, cause it’s like, ‘You call me, I pick up. I call you, you pick up. You text me, I respond immediately,’” Nicole mentioned.

She explained that when the love-bombing phase ends, the same person can suddenly become suspicious.

Nicole added that she appreciates good communication, but she also needs room to live her life.

“I love a communicator, also like, let’s be understanding of like, I don’t live in my phone. And I can’t respond to you immediately at all times,” she said.

Her comments came nearly two months after an old video of her and ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce resurfaced online on Oct. 3.

In the clip, Nicole held her phone while sipping wine, and Kelce leaned in and said:

“Just drink the wine so we can go.”

Nicole then joked that she would not need to go online “to seek validation from a bunch of strangers on the internet” if “someone sometimes would pay [her] attention.”

Kelce let out a sigh and said:

“Oh, my God. Get off your phone. Get off your phone. … You’re not even drinking your wine anymore, can we go?”

Nicole laughed it off.

The old video made its way around the internet just as Taylor Swift’s new album, “The Life of a Showgirl” was released on Oct. 3.

In the song “Opalite,” Swifties believe Travis Kelce’s fiancée seemingly took a dig at Kayla Nicole with the lyrics:

“You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone/You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”

28 days later, on Oct. 31, Kayla Nicole recreated Toni Braxton’s iconic look from the 2000 “He Wasn’t Man Enough” music video.

Lyrics from Braxton’s song, like “Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend?” fueled theories that Nicole was shading Swift.

Nicole later clarified on her podcast The Pre‑Game that the costume was not aimed at Swift or Kelce.

Kayla Nicole reveals her wish to date team owners

Kayla Nicole went on the “Boyfriend Material” podcast with Harry Jowsey and said she is done dating athletes and wants to aim higher now.

“I keep saying I don’t want to date any more athletes, but I’m down to date the owners of the teams,” Nicole joked on the Nov. 25 episode.

Jowsey quipped: “I am here.”

Nicole laughed and said:

“And 10 other, 20 other women. You seem like you come with a lot. I’m not going to lie.”

Kayla Nicole has started her brand, Tribe Therepe. Alongside, she also hosts her podcast, “Welcome To The Pregame.”
