Shedeur Sanders, Jerry Jeudy’s heated argument video goes viral as Browns struggle vs. 49ers

WATCH: Shedeur Sanders, Jerry Jeudy

Shedeur Sanders had a heated moment on the sideline with wide receiver Jerry Jeudy on Sunday. In a clip going viral on social media, we see the Cleveland Browns’ rookie quarterback having a heated conversation with Jeudy while reviewing a play on the tablet.

The Pro Bowl wide receiver could be seen clapping his hands while arguing with Shedeur. The rookie quarterback then stood up, leading to a back-and-forth verbal disagreement before Ethan Pocic got in between them to cool things down.

Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers was Shedeur Sanders’ second time as the starting quarterback of the Browns. However, they ended this Week 13 contest with a disappointing 26-8 loss at home.

Shedeur completed 16 of 25 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown. During a third-and-five play in the first quarter, he lobbed a pass down the field to Jerry Jeudy for a potential touchdown.

However, the WR could not connect with his quarterback’s pass. He finished the game with 26 receiving yards on three receptionsFollowing this loss to the 49ers, the Cleveland Browns are placed dead last in the AFC North with a 3-9 record. On the other hand, Kyle Shanahan’s team is 9-4 with a three-game winning streak.

Shedeur Sanders takes the blame for missed touchdown opportunity

In the post-game press conference, Coach Prime’s son took responsibility for failing to connect with Jerry Jeudy on a potential touchdown pass in the first quarter.

Shedeur Sanders said that he needs to work on improving his chemistry with the rest of the offensive players on the team.

“I think as players and as teammates, we have to be able to gel with each other and be comfortable with each other in every situation,” Sanders said. “That takes time. It takes a lot of things. So this team is not going to be a microwave thing. We’re going to have sparks. We’re going to have here and there, but it’s going to take time to be able to develop that chemistry with everybody, to be on the same page with Jerry.”

Last week, in his first game as the starting quarterback of the team, Shedeur Sanders led the Browns to a 24-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. In that game, he completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown and an interception.

The Browns will next face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m. ET.
