Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions will face his former team, the Los Angeles Rams, on Sunday afternoon’s Week 15 matchup. The Rams traded Goff in March 2021 to the Lions in exchange for quarterback Matthew Stafford and draft compensation.
Now in his fifth season with the Detroit Lions, Goff’s wife, Christen Harper, recently told US Weekly that there are no hard feelings with his former team. Harper said that the quarterback has moved on and that it’s water under the bridge at this point in his career.
“It kind of feels like water under the bridge at this point. I’ve been here longer than Jared was with the Rams. He’s played more games as a Lion. It really does feel like so long ago. It doesn’t have that same taste in our mouths as it used to. It just feels like another game at this point,” Harper said via US Weekly.

The 8-5 Lions are third in the NFC North and are eighth in the NFC, just on the cusp of a playoff run.
