Philadelphia Eagles second-year cornerback Cooper DeJean found a way to play with fans’ minds amid rumors that he is dating WWE superstar Nikki Bella. DeJean and Bella sparked romance rumors months after they took a picture together at training camp.
The Super Bowl LIX champion allegedly went to RAW in Philadelphia to see Bella, which added to the speculation. Bella took a picture in the Eagles’ locker room, which drew plenty of reactions from fans. DeJean showed love to the wrestler on Instagram after she shared a series of pictures after watching the Eagles destroy the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0 on Sunday.
The player reacted with an eagle and a heart emoji in the comments section.
Cooper DeJean and the Eagles’ defense celebrated an interception against the Washington Commanders on Sunday by hitting the Five Knuckle Shuffle move, which was used by WWE legend John Cena, who dated Nikki Bella for several years.

It is unclear whether that was another reference to his rumored relationship with Bella, but it was curious to see Cooper DeJean pull this move amid all the rumors and speculation. He finished the game with five tackles and four passes defended, as the Eagles cruised to a 29-18 win over the Commanders to improve to 10-5.

Reporters asked Cooper DeJean about his unique interception celebration. The former Iowa star said the team wanted to pay homage to John Cena, who retired from professional wrestling (or sports entertainment, as Vince McMahon called it) after 26 years in the industry and two decades as the face of WWE.
“Yeah, we were just in zone,” DeJean said. “Was laying it down and came all the way back around and I saw him pop his feet and took off, was able to catch it. Thought he was going to score but didn’t realize he was right behind me.
“Yeah, celebration, just a tribute to John Cena. The guy I watched growing up. Big WWE guy when I was a kid. So yeah, we had that one planned for a while.”
The Eagles are once again NFC East champions. They eliminated the Dallas Cowboys from playoff contention on Saturday and will face the Buffalo Bills in Week 17, hoping to extend their winning streak to three games.
