LIV Golf make ‘eight-figure offer’ to sign PGA Tour player ranked 32nd in the world

LIV Golf are not ready to accept defeat in their push to strengthen the league ahead of the 2026 season, with talks reportedly ongoing with three PGA Tour players.

It has been a rough winter for LIV Golf so far. There has been speculation that Brooks Koepka could leave ahead of the 2026 campaign.

It had appeared that LIV were close to signing Si-woo Kim. However, Kim reportedly rejected the move and committed to playing the Sony Open in Hawaii.

But perhaps the South Korean will miss the opening event of the new PGA Tour season after all.

LIV Golf reportedly in talks with three PGA Tour players

According to Flushing It, LIV have reopened talks with Kim. Meanwhile, they are also in discussions with Byeong Hun An, with significant offers on the table for both players.

And it seems that they have another PGA Tour player on the radar.

The same account reports that an eight-figure offer has been made to Max Greyserman. It is claimed that the world number 32 could replace Ben Campbell on Bubba Watson‘s RangeGoats.

Flushing It does note that it is not yet clear whether Greyserman has agreed to defect.

Max Greyserman interest may lead to plenty of ridicule, despite his world ranking

Signing Kim and An would be a statement of intent from LIV. There is clearly potential for the league to develop an international following. They also had an event in South Korea in 2025.

Kim has won at TPC Sawgrass, while his departure would be a huge loss to the Presidents Cup. Kim provided the moment of the week at Royal Montreal last year with his chip in on Saturday evening.

The year is 2030… How do you think LIV Golf will look and who will be their biggest star?

Pursuing Greyserman would be much more intriguing. He is yet to win on the PGA Tour, while he has not yet registered a top 20 finish in a major.

It was only in putting where Greyserman found himself in the top 50 on the PGA Tour for strokes gained in 2025.

So it is surely fair to say that it would definitely not move the needle if LIV did convince him to join this winter, even if he boasts a hugely impressive world ranking.

The fact that they are prepared to part with such a significant sum to land Greyserman perhaps tells you everything about the position they are currently in.
