Tiger Woods’ former coach Hank Haney shared a brief reaction to a viral comment made by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, whose company became the first to reach a $5 trillion market value. Haney responded after watching Huang speak about humility and work ethic, which resonated widely online.

According to Forbes, NVIDIA crossed the historic milestone after its market value climbed past $5 trillion, making it the most valuable publicly traded company to date. A clip from one of Huang’s interviews surfaced on social media on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in which he spoke about his early work experiences and mindset:

“No task is beneath me because, remember, I used to be a dishwasher. And I mean that. I used to clean toilets. I cleaned a lot of toilets. I’ve cleaned more toilets than all of you combined… If you send me something and you want my input on it and I can be of service to you and in my review of it share with you how I reason through it… ‘I’ve made it possible for you to see how I reason through something.”

Impressed by the message, Haney reshared the video on X and wrote:

“Greatness”

Hank Haney coached Tiger Woods during one of the most successful stretches of the golfer’s career, helping him win six major championships and 31 titles between 2004 and 2010.

After moving from Chicago in 1982, Woods built a reputation as one of golf’s top swing coaches, working with stars like Tiger Woods and 1998 Masters and British Open winner Mark O’Meara. He now runs the Hank Haney Golf Studio in Deerfield, focusing on amateur golfers of all skill levels rather than touring professionals, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Tiger Woods’ ex-coach shares his view on Elon Musk and Tesla situation

Earlier this year, Tiger Woods’s former coach Hank Haney commented on Elon Musk and Tesla after reports of vandalism involving the company’s cars and dealerships began circulating. At the time, a post on X asked users whether the situation made them more or less likely to buy a Tesla.

Haney responded to the post by making his stance clear, writing:

“More, I’m getting one”

Haney later doubled down on that view while praising Musk’s aerospace company, SpaceX, after it helped bring astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams back to Earth. Reacting to the successful mission on X, Haney said the moment further reinforced his decision to buy a Tesla.
