The 2025 LIV Golf was wrapped up with its finale in August, following which the players who finished in the drop zone were relegated from the series. After the completion of the season, players finishing outside the top 49 in the standings were relegated from the circuit, and recently, Brooks Koepka has announced his exit from the league.

There is still time for the start of the new LIV Golf season, and ahead of that, some big names left the series. Below are the five big names who are either relegated or left LIV Golf in 2025.

#1 Anthony Kim

Anthony Kim had surprised fans with his return to LIV Golf in 2024. He played two seasons in the league, and after this season, he settled in the drop zone in the season standings. Kim settled in 55th place and was relegated from the circuit.


#2 Brooks Koepka

Another big name who exited LIV Golf is Brooks Koepka. Earlier this week, the Saudi league announced his exit from the league. Scott O’Neil opened up about the five-time major winner and said (via ESPN):

“We have amicably and mutually agreed that Brooks Koepka will no longer compete in the LIV Golf League, following the 2025 season. Brooks is prioritizing the needs of his family and staying closer to home. We appreciate the significant impact he has had on the game and wish him continued success, both on and off the course.”


#3 Henrik Stenson

Henrik Stenson had a tough time playing on LIV Golf in 2025. He settled in 49th place in the season standings and was relegated from the circuit.

Stenson started the season with a 48th-place finish in the LIV Golf Riyadh event; however, he then recorded a T12 in Adelaide. Some of his other key finishes are T20 in Korea, T25 in Dallas, and T34 in the United Kingdom.


#4 Mito Pereira

Mito Pereira also finished in the drop zone in the LIV Golf 2025 season standings. He had a tough time on the greens this year and settled in the 51st position. Pereira has recently announced his retirement from professional golf.


#5 Andy Ogletree

Andy Ogletree also had a tough time this season on LIV Golf and was relegated from the circuit. He settled in 50th position in the season standings. He started the campaign with a 54th-place finish in Riyadh and then tied for T31 in Adelaide. Some of his key finishes from the season are T20 in Hong Kong, T17 in Korea, and T18 in the UK.
