After taking over the captaincy from Brooks Koepka, Talor Gooch has extended his contract with LIV Golf. As per reports, Smash GC’s new captain is set to be with the Saudi-backed circuit for three years.
Last week, Brooks Koepka announced his exit from LIV Golf after leading Smash GC for four years. On the same day, his teammate Gooch was announced as Smash’s new captain.
As per Front Office Sports, LIV Golf has extended Gooch’s contract for three more years. The new deal will be announced before the start of the 2026 season in February. While Koepka had an equity stake in Smash GC, it is not clear yet if Gooch will get the same.
