MacIntyre responded to questions from his fans on Instagram while traveling on Wednesday.

There, he named his key piece of advice for junior golfers looking to develop their skills.

“Get the basic mechanics of the golf swing, then go and be creative,” MacIntyre suggested. “Hit wild shots. Learn the game, not the swing.”

MacIntyre also recommended aspiring golfers go to college in America to give themselves the best chance of turning pro.

“I think it’s the best way for people to learn and test themselves against the best,” he said.
