Scottie Scheffler had topped the list in the power rankings for The American Express 2026. This week, the PGA Tour players will compete in the second event of the season. The tournament will start with its inaugural round on Thursday, January 22.
The world No. 1 is set to start his 2026 campaign this week in a star-studded tournament, which features the likes of Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, and many others.
Scottie Scheffler enjoyed a fabulous season in 2025 and is gearing up for the start of the new season this week. Robert MacIntyre settled in second place in the power ranking shared by the PGA Tour for the American Express. He played last week’s Sony Open in Hawaii and settled in a tie for fourth place. Scottie Scheffler had missed The American Express 2025 due to an injury. He started his campaign last year at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with a solid T9 finish. He enjoyed a fabulous season last year. He played in 20 tournaments and made the cut in all of them.
