“This has to be knock-off”: J.J. Watt reveals question Hall of Fame credibility as Bill Belichick falls short for first-ballot Hall of Fame induction

JJ Watt reveals question Hall of Fame credibility as Bill Belichick falls short for first-ballot Hall of Fame induction

Bill Belichick not earning first-ballot induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame has sent the NFL world in disbelief. NFL legend J.J. Watt openly questioned the process’s credibility.

On Tuesday night, reports confirmed the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach failed to receive enough votes in his first year of eligibility. Texans legend Watt was reacted on X,

“I can’t be reading this right. This has to be some knock-off Hall of Fame or something. There is not a single world whatsoever in which Bill Belichick should not be a First-Ballot Hall of Famer.”

I can’t be reading this right. This has to be some knock-off Hall of Fame or something, it can’t be the actual NFL Hall of Fame. There is not a single world whatsoever in which Bill Belichick should not be a First-Ballot Hall of Famer.

Belichick is one of five finalists in the Senior, Coaches, and Contributors category. This also includes Robert Kraft, Ken Anderson, L.C. Greenwood, and Roger Craig. Only up to three candidates can be selected, and each must reach an 80% voting threshold.
