Klint Kubiak has one more task as the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator before he takes over as the Las Vegas Raiders’ head coach. The task is to put the Seahawks offense in the best position to beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX.
“I’m just focusing on playing this game and coaching this game. Been working my whole life to get to coach in this game, and that’s where my focus is.” Kubiak said to the press on Monday night.
The Seahawks offense was rampant under Kubiak this season. The unit was crucial to the Seahawks securing the No. 1 seed in the NFC, and they maintained that form in the playoffs.

Klint Kubiak set for first HC gig in 2026
Klint Kubiak has come a long way since his days as an offensive quality control coach at Texas A&M. He spent three seasons with the college football program before joining the Minnesota Vikings as an offensive quality control coach.
He had stints with the Vikings, Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers before getting his first offensive coordinator gig with the New Orleans Saints. Kubiak spent a season with the Saints before taking his talent to Seattle.
Kubiak’s offensive acumen positioned Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to enjoy career years in the 2025 season. He’s now set for his first head coaching role as the new HC of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Klint Kubiak is replacing Pete Carroll in Las Vegas and will be tasked with getting the best out of Ashton Jeanty, Brock Bowers and potentially Fernando Mendoza in 2026. But first, there’s a Super Bowl LX game to win with the Seahawks.
