The New England Patriots enter Super Bowl LX as underdogs against the Seattle Seahawks. According to Yahoo Sports, the Seahawks are currently 4.5-point favorites at most Sportsbooks (with a few 5s out there) plus a total of 45.5 at BetMGM.

However, two-time Super Bowl champ Danny Amendola sees the game going much differently.

“I think the Pats are gonna win by 8 points.” Amendola said on ‘First Things First”

Amendola won both his Super Bowls as a member of the Bill Belichick-coached Patriots in the 2000s. He operated as a wide receiver and kick returner as the Patriots reached three Super Bowls while he was on the roster.

Amendola is well respected for his time in New England and he’s a member of the New England Patriots All-2010s Team. The 2009 NFL kickoff return yards leader believes that the Patriots have what it takes to beat the favored Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX.

New England Patriots aiming for franchise’s seventh Super Bowl ring

The New England Patriots are one of the most successful franchises in NFL history. They’ve won six Super Bowls in their organization’s history.

Robert Kraft’s team is chasing its seventh win in the game against the Seattle Seahawks. This big game is a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, which the Patriots won after a questionable decision by then-Seahawks coach Pete Carroll to throw rather than run the ball on the one-yard line.

Here’s a look at the results of every Super Bowl appearance in Patriots history:

  • Super Bowl XX: Chicago Bears 46, New England Patriots 10 (Loss)
  • Super Bowl XXXI: Green Bay Packers 35, New England Patriots 21 (Loss)
  • Super Bowl XXXVI: New England Patriots 20, St. Louis Rams 17 (Win)
  • Super Bowl XXXVIII: New England Patriots 32, Carolina Panthers 29 (Win)
  • Super Bowl XXXIX: New England Patriots 24, Philadelphia Eagles 21 (Win)
  • Super Bowl XLII: New York Giants 17, New England Patriots 14 (Loss)
  • Super Bowl XLVI: New York Giants 21, New England Patriots 17 (Loss)
  • Super Bowl XLIX: New England Patriots 28, Seattle Seahawks 24 (Win)
  • Super Bowl LI: New England Patriots 34, Atlanta Falcons 28 (Win)
  • Super Bowl LII: Philadelphia Eagles 41, New England Patriots 33 (Loss)
  • Super Bowl LIII: New England Patriots 13, Los Angeles Rams 3 (Win)

The Patriots have won six and lost five Super Bowl games in their 66-year history. Mike Vrabel and Co. will look to make it 7-5 on Sunday.
