The PGA Tour players are next preparing to compete in the first signature event, the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. It is the fifth event of the regular season and the first signature event of this season. It features a limited field of some top-ranked golfers.
Defending champion Rory McIlroy will compete in the event alongside some other big names, such as Scottie Scheffler and others. However, some regulars, including Justin Thomas, are missing from the field.
Below are the five PGA Tour regulars who will be missing from the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
5 PGA Tour regulars missing from AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2026
#1 Justin Thomas

Justin Thomas underwent surgery in November and has been away from the field for a while. The American golfer has not played in PGA Tour events this season. He is also not expected to play this week. His last outing was the Procore Championship, where he carded rounds of 72, 70, 72, and 75 and settled in 69th place.
#2 Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen

Another golfer missing from the field is Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen. The Danish golfer has played two tournaments so far on the PGA Tour in the 2026 season, but will be missing from the upcoming AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He played at the Farmers Insurance Open, where he settled in T49, and then competed at the WM Phoenix Open, where he settled in T41.
#3 Max Homa

Max Homa is another PGA Tour regular missing from the field of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The American golfer kick-started his 2026 PGA Tour season at The American Express, where he settled in T27. He then competed at the Farmers Insurance Open but missed the cut after carding rounds of 75 and 70. He was tied for 66th place at the WM Phoenix Open.
#4 Tom Kim

Tom Kim is also missing from the field of the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. It is the first event of the season that he will not be playing in 2026. He started the campaign this season at the Sony Open in Hawaii with a T61 finish. He then placed T38 at The American Express, T65 at the Farmers Insurance Open, and T35 at the WM Phoenix Open.
#5 Erik van Rooyen

Erik van Rooyen is in the alternate list for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He is another big name who is not playing in the event. The South African golfer has had a pretty tough time this season on the PGA Tour. He has played in four tournaments and missed the cut in all of them.
