Anthony Kim has joined Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC for the 2026 LIV Golf season. The American golfer has made his way back into the Saudi league through the Promotion event. He is playing his first event as a team member this week at the Adelaide event.

Notably, ahead of the start of the 2026 season, 4Aces GC member Patrick Reed left the league, leaving one spot vacant on the team. Now, this week, Kim has officially joined the team as the new member, playing alongside Johnson, who last month renewed his LIV Golf contract, Thomas Detry, a new member of the league, and Thomas Pieters, a six-time European Tour winner.

Nuclr Golf shared a video of Anthony Kim walking out as a 4Aces member on its X (formerly Twitter) account with a caption:

“#COMEBACK SZN — Anthony Kim makes his debut with the 4Aces at LIV Adelaide.”

Notably, Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC was the team champion in 2022. The team initially had Johnson alongside Talor Gooch, Pat Perez, and Patrick Reed.

However, Gooch joined RangeGoats in 2023 and then Smash GC in 2024. He became the captain of Smash GC after Brooks Koepka stepped down from his position and left LIV Golf to rejoin the PGA Tour last month. Meanwhile, Perez was replaced on the team by Thomas Pieters in 2024, and he then became the on-course reporter on the broadcast crew.

Anthony Kim kick-starts the 2026 LIV Golf with a T22 finish

Anthony Kim has kick-started his LIV Golf 2026 season at the Riyadh event. The tournament was held from Feb. 4 to 6, and he had an impressive time.

The league changed its format to a 72-stroke hole format, and Kim started the game with an opening round of 4-under. He then played an even-par round on the second day and carded 3-under and 6-under in the next two days, settling with a score of 13-under. He finished in a tie for 22nd place. However, he played the first tournament as a wild card entry and is now officially gearing up to play as a team member.

Anthony Kim returned to play golf after a decade-long break from the game in 2024. However, he struggled on his return and settled in 56th position in the season standings.

His best finish in the 2024 season was at the Greenbrier event, where he settled in 36th place. In 2025, things remained the same as he again struggled with his game.

He settled in 55th place in the season standings and was eventually relegated from the circuit. He then competed in the LIV Golf Promotions event and secured his spot in the league again by finishing in the top three places.

This week, the LIV Golf Adelaide event is scheduled to take place from Feb. 12 to 15.
