Former NFL safety turned analyst Ryan Clark has come forward to respond to Craig Carton’s accusations of him being a race-baiter. The analyst called out the ex-Steelers player after the Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl LX and quarterback Sam Darnold went to Disneyland with running back Kenneth Walker.
On Friday, Clark shared a tweet on X, downplaying the comments. He then said that Carton’s remarks were just a way for him to farm engagement online.
“Y’all make up anything. Hope it got you some click brother!!”

It is a long-standing tradition in the NFL that the Super Bowl MVP always has a day out at Disney World. However, this year’s MVP, Kenneth Walker, was accompanied by Sam Darnold to his trip to the theme park.
On Tuesday’s episode of the “Craig Carton” show, the analyst took a shot at Ryan Clark and Jemele Hill, urging them not to be upset that a white quarterback was accompanying Walker to Disney World.
“I am every concerned about the mental health & welface of Jemele Hill & Ryan Clark,” Carton said. “I don’t want them to get too upset that Sam Darnold got invited to Disney World along with Kenneth Walker, the MVP of Super Bowl LX.
“And I know the mere sight of having a white player in that teacup with the MVP, who happens to be black, is enough to set them off and down a very bad path. So I’m hoping that we could do a wellness check on the two biggest race baiterse in America to make sure they’re OK, that they’re not upset that Kenneth Walker had to share the teacup ride with his white quarterback.”
In the Super Bowl showdown against the Patriots, Sam Darnold completed 19 of 38 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown. On the other hand, Kenneth Walker had 135 rushing yards on 27 carries.
Coach Jason Browns sounds off on Ryan Clark after his interview with Sam Darnold and Kenneth Walker
After the Seahawks won Super Bowl LX, Ryan Clark interviewed both Kenneth Walker and Sam Darnold. He was surprised how the season champions decided to spend time with their families instead of partying at a club to celebrate their victory.
Coach Jason Brown called out Clark and heavily lashed out at him for being a race-baiter.
“You said that Sam Darnold and Kenneth Walker should go out and party because they won the Super Bowl, not with their families,” Brown said on his podcast on Thursday. “You demonic f*****g weirdo f*****g race clowns need to somewhere. Clark the race baiting clown that he is. Jemele Hill, the race baiting clown b***h that she is, yeah I said it. …
“Somebody gotta call these m****rf*****s out. I’m so f*****g tired of these clowns m****rf*****s. Ryan Clark literally went on after this m****rf*****g man, Sam Darnold, wins a Super Bowl, and just tries to take away his m****rf*****g luster. … Your priorities are so f***ed up you can’t get out your own ***rf*****g way, cause you’re a f*****g clown. … How are you still employed?
This season was the Seahawks’ first Lombardi Trophy since the 2013 season, when they defeated the Denver Broncos to win Super Bowl XLVIII.
