The PGA Tour players will be in action this week at the Genesis Invitational, the second signature event of the season. The fifth event of the PGA Tour schedule will kick off on Thursday, February 19, and will return to its regular host, Riviera Country Club, after being shifted last year.
The second signature event of the year has a limited 72-player field and will have a 36-hole cut. The Tiger Woods-hosted event will have a purse of a whopping $20 million and will be a star-studded affair.
In this article, we will look at a few one-and-done picks for the Genesis Invitational.
One-and-Done Picks for Genesis Invitational explored
1) Si Woo Kim

Si Woo Kim has been consistent this year and has performed decently in all but his last event. For the uninitiated, he tied for 45th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am but will be hoping it was just one off week for him.
The 30-year-old golfer has had four top-11 finishes in five starts, including a T2 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open. Speaking of past results, the Genesis Invitational has been a mixed bag for Kim.
He has made just five cuts in five starts here, and his third-place finish in 2019 was his only top-ten result. The ace golfer is +3000 to lift the trophy at Riviera this week.
2) Cameron Young

Cameron Young is +3000 to win the Genesis Invitational but hasn’t found his groove yet. The 28-year-old golfer has yet to make a top-20 finish and has had two finishes outside the top 40 in three starts this season.
Speaking of past results at Riviera, Young recorded top-20 finishes in his first three starts, including a T2 finish in 2022. However, he missed the cut in his last appearance in 2025.
3) Patrick Cantlay

Patrick Cantlay is +2500 to win the Genesis Invitational, but he hasn’t won on the PGA Tour in four years. However, he has an outstanding record at the Riviera Country Club.
Cantlay has missed just two cuts in eight starts at Riviera and has seven top-25 finishes here. He has converted four into top-tens, including a third-place finish in 2023.
Speaking of recent form, Cantlay has played three events this season and has missed one cut. However, he has finished inside the top 14 in the other two and will be hoping to end his title drought this week.
