After being cut by the Miami Dolphins, eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill is already mentioned as potential addition to multiple teams around the NFL. The veteran can still make an impact on offense, although he is not as explosive as before.
Since the reports came to light, many teams were mentioned among potential landing spots for the veteran. The Kansas City Chiefs, naturally, instantly became a strong candidate. Other teams such as the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills and LA Chargers could be in the mix, too.
Antonio Brown’s CTESPNNetwork linked the speedster to an AFC North franchise in need of a more firepower in the offense.
“Tyrek Hill to the steelers !!!!!” they tweeted.

A season-ending injury limited Hill to four games in 2025. He posted 21 receptions on 29 targets, recording 265 yards and one touchdown. The Dolphins ranked third in the AFC East (7-10) behind the Patriots and Bills.
With Mike McDaniel out and Jeff Hafley taking over as head coach, the Dolphins are undergoing a roster overhaul.
The Steelers, valued at $6.5 billion by Forbes, had DK Metcalf as WR1 in 2025. They paired the former Seahawks star with Adam Thielen, but the experiment didn’t work out. Adding a veteran like Hill would be beneficial, especially if they want to bring back Aaron Rodgers to the roster.
Tyreek Hill shares message reflecting on his Dolphins tenure
Tyreek Hill shared an Instagram post highlighting his four-year tenure with the Miami Dolphins.
“The Cheetah don’t stop,” Hill wrote. “Thank you to the entire @miamidolphins organization, my teammates, the staff, and most importantly Fins nation, for an unforgettable 4 years. From the moment I landed in Miami, I felt the love. … These past few years have been some of the most meaningful of my life and career.
“Every chapter in life has taught me something. This one taught me leadership, resilience, and mostly gratitude. The love I have for this game is unexplainable. And right now, this offseason, for the first tiome ever, the Cheetah is all the way turned up and locked in. Focused.”
While his productivity took a hit in 2024 and 2025, Hill remains a dangerous weapon.
