Jonathan Owens reflected on Bears 2025 playoff run

The Chicago Bears had a successful first season under new coach, Ben Johnson. The Bears won the NFC North title for the first time since 2018 with a 11-6 record. Chicago’s playoff run was stopped in the divisional round with a 20-17 loss to the Rams.

On Monday, Jonathan Owens shared a season recap and reflected on the successful season his team had. The cornerback also acknowledged that his NFL future remains unknown as he now enters free agency after two seasons in Chicago.

“Took a while to process man, but what a year, definitely the most fun I’ve had playing football in a long time. Don’t know what the future holds but our time in Chicago will forever hold a special place in our heart. The love from the city is UNMATCHED, from the food to the fans 🤞🏽Still surreal to say i just finished my 8th season, hard work pays off man. Back in the lab soon 🧪⏳,” Owens wrote.

In 17 games this past season, Owens had nine solo tackles and 19 combined tackles. The cornerback saw a majority of his time spent with the Chicago Bears special teams squad.
