The Buffalo Bills are expected to bring some reinforcements for their quarterback, Josh Allen, in 2026. Reports indicate that they are planning on addressing their wide receivers room this offseason. However, one particular player is standing out in these conversations.
According to a tweet by former NFL quarterback Kurt Benkert, the Bills fanbase would love to bring in Romeo Doubs as part of their offense. He believes that the addition of this wide receiver could elevate their offense.
“Bills fans would LOVE Doubs. They don’t have a guy on their team that can do what he does,” Benkert tweeted.

Over the past few seasons, the Bills have been reliant on Josh Allen’s dual-threat abilities on offense. His contributions were very evident last season, when he recorded 3,668 yards and 25 TDs passing while rushing for 579 yards and 14 TDs. They qualified for their seventh consecutive playoff appearance, but lost to the Broncos in a divisional showdown.
On the other hand, Romeo Doubs played his fourth season with the Green Bay Packers. They drafted him with the 132nd overall pick in 2022. The wide receiver recorded 724 yards on 55 receptions with six touchdowns while helping the Packers to the wild-card round of the playoffs. However, their Super Bowl hopes were crushed after a 31-27 loss to the Bears.
In four seasons, Doubs recorded 2,424 yards on 202 receptions and 21 touchdowns. His four-year rookie deal with the team ended, making him a pending free agent.
Apart from him, Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has also been a part of the trade rumors, especially with the Bills. Skip Bayless proposed that the wide receiver would be an asset for Josh Allen after his inconsistent 2025 campaign and reports of a rift with Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
However, insider Peter Schrager shut down these rumors about Brown’s trade, but stated that Eagles GM Howie Roseman will “always have his phone line open.”

Josh Allen shares his thoughts about new Bills HC Joe Brady
After nine seasons, the Buffalo Bills fired coach Sean McDermott following the 2025 season. In January, offensive coordinator Joe Brady was promoted and named as his replacement.
During his introductory press conference, Josh Allen shared his thoughts on Brady.
“He’s a real human that guys can get behind and understand and play for,” Allen said as per the team’s website. “I thought in this interview, the vision that he had for this team, … He’s going to continue to keep working hard and trying to find ways for our team now to be put in successful positions.
“You don’t get head coaching experience without being a head coach. Everyone that’s been a head coach was a head coach for the first time at some point. It’s his time now.”
Joe Brady has worked with Allen since joining the team back in 2022. Will the team finally make a Super Bowl run under his reign this upcoming season?
