Maxx Crosby has been traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Baltimore Ravens. The news came out Friday night.
After the NFL shared the update on Saturday via Instagram, Crosby’s sister, Milla, reposted the news on her Instagram Story and sent a message to the Ravens.
“To new beginnings!!! Officially a Ravens fan. See you in the fall Baltimore!” she wrote, while tagging her brother and his wife, Rachel.

The trade will become official when the new NFL league year starts on March 11.
In the Ravens’ 31-year history, they have never traded a first-round draft pick to get a veteran player before.
One reason for the move is that the Ravens struggled to sack the quarterback last season.
By adding Crosby, who is a three-time All-Pro and has 69.5 career sacks, the team hopes to improve its defense and make the most of quarterback Lamar Jackson’s under new head coach Jesse Minter.
For the Raiders, the trade shows that the team may be starting a rebuild.
Just a few days ago, general manager John Spytek said the team wanted to keep Crosby. But now the Raiders seem focused on building for the future.
The team has the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and it is expected to be Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
After this trade, the Raiders now have four first-round picks over the next two years.
With Ravens, Crosby is under contract until 2029. He will join Roquan Smith and Kyle Hamilton, which could make Baltimore’s defense one of the toughest in the AFC North.
