
Trent McDuffie traded to the Los Angeles Rams ahead of the start of the new season. The NFL cornerback, who was the first-round overall 21st pick of the 2022 draft, has spent four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has agreed to a new contract with the Rams worth around $124 million, making him one of the highest-paid cornerbacks.
Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt sent a sweet message for McDuffie as he prepares to join the new NFL team. On Thursday, McDuffie shared a heartfelt message expressing his gratitude to the “Chiefs Kingdom” and shared his excitement to play for the Rams on his Instagram account.
Hunt reshared the post on her Instagram story on Thursday and penned a heartfelt caption, bidding farewell to the CB.
“Once a part of Chiefs Kingdom, always a part of Chiefs Kingdom. KC will miss you,” she wrote.

In his post, Trent McDuffie talked about the “last 4 years” he spent with the Chiefs and expressed gratitude for winning the Lombardi Trophy two times straight.
He was the first-team All-Pro in 2023 and the second-team All-Pro in 2024. He played 56 games and recorded 246 total tackles in his career, along with 5.5 sacks and three interceptions.

Trent McDuffie’s girlfriend, Gabby Esposito, shared a sweet post on her Instagram account on Monday. She shared several pictures of her good times while cheering for the Chiefs in the last few seasons and penned a long caption.
She expressed gratitude to the “Chiefs organization” for “trading up for Trent in the draft” and also for their incredible time with the team. She also talked about the “Chiefs’ girliesss.”
“And to my Chiefs girliesss, my heart hurts. the friendships and bonds we’ve built are some of my favorites that I can only hope don’t go away with distance. I’ll miss you all tremendously but will forever cherish all of the laughs, game days, + countless tequila shots,” Esposito wrote.
Esposito also shared excitement for Trent to play for the Rams.
“While it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye, I’m also so excited for this next chapter,” Esposito added. “We have already been welcomed to LA with the warmest arms + we are so excited to be back in the place that Trent calls home. Cheers to new beginnings and for the first time…go rams.”
In her post, Trent McDuffie’s girlfriend added a romantic black-and-white photo of her kissing him on the sidelines in the first slide of the post. In addition, she added several other pictures of her cheering for the Chiefs over the years.
