Shedeur Sanders sent a clear message about his mindset amid rumors and speculation regarding his future with the Cleveland Browns. Sanders had an underwhelming rookie season, waiting until the latter part of the campaign to get his first taste of NFL action.

Despite starting the final seven games, Sanders’ future wasn’t clear entering the 2026 NFL offseason. The Browns could still add a new quarterback in the upcoming draft, forcing Shedeur to take a back seat and fight for the QB2 spot with Dillon Gabriel and Deshaun Watson.

Meanwhile, the rookie quarterback on Friday sent a powerful message on X about the people who support him.

“Learn to value the opinions of those who care about you, not the noise from everyone else,” Sanders tweeted.

Shedeur Sanders played eight games in 2025, going 120 of 212 for 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns with 10 interceptions. The Browns’ defense was stagnant, and nobody could shine under the prior regime.

With Todd Monken taking over as head coach, fans hope he can make an impact on the team. Otherwise, it would be another disappointing hiring.

Ty Simpson confirms desire to replace Shedeur Sanders on Browns

Ty Simpson has been very vocal about his desire to join the Cleveland Browns and play under Todd Monken. During Thursday’s episode of “Up & Adams,” the Alabama Crimson Tide prospect made his case to join the Browns but also pitched the idea of landing with Ohio State star wide receiver Carnell Tate.

“That’s something that you’d have to ask Coach [Todd Monken] and [General Manager Andrew Barry],” Simpson told Kay Adams, adding, “I think it’d be great. They’ve got it going up there.”

“If I’m able to throw to Carnell, it’d be great. It would be something that we’d always be on the same page, and hopefully we’d take the league by storm,” he said.

Both players grew closer in recent weeks. They visited the Browns after the 2026 NFL Combine and could join forces on the field if Cleveland drafts them in April’s draft.
