Former New England Patriots quarterback and NFL icon Tom Brady took the field for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic last week. During the lead-up to the event, Brady grabbed the headlines for his back-and-forth with influencer and wrestler Logan Paul.
Paul, who has been a feature at several WWE events over the last few years, was mocked by Brady. The NFL icon also took a shot at WWE, which garnered a hostile response from several wrestlers.
Amid his reported feud with Paul, there have been rumors of Brady’s WWE appearance at WrestleMania 42 in April. WWE reporter Dave Meltzer said on the Wrestling Observer Radio that Brady is negotiating a potential deal with the company.
“From what I have been told, they are in negotiations with Tom Brady — but there is absolutely not a deal at this point for Tom Brady,” Meltzer said. “So it could happen. Obviously, Logan Paul and Tom Brady are working. I mean, everyone knows they’re working the angle, I think people have seen that coming in. But there could be something in some form at WrestleMania, it would not be a surprise.

“And what they did in the football game was clearly to build it. Just as all the talk of, you know, Tom Brady cutting down pro wrestlers and the wrestlers all responding — that is all storyline. That is not like Tom Brady’s a d**k and he doesn’t respect pro wrestling.”
Brady is the minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and their Allegiant Stadium in Vegas is set to host WrestleMania for a second consecutive year.

Logan Paul dissed Tom Brady’s Fanatics Flag Football teammate
While Tom Brady has mocked WWE over the last few weeks, Logan Paul has responded in kind by taking shots at NFL players. Following the Flag Football event last week, Paul took a subtle jab at Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
“I’d like to apologize to Jalen Hurts for sacking you and later deflecting a pass that then got intercepted by my team, allowing us to score on the very next possession,” Paul said. “If you get traded or your contract gets cut down, now we know why, and it’s probably pretty embarrassing.”
Paul “sacked” Brady’s teammate during the contest and forced a turnover during the contest over the weekend.
