A joke from Alix Earle’s dad added more fuel to the talk around her New Year’s Eve night with Tom Brady. The moment came after a TikTok video was posted on January 3 by Alix’s stepmother, Ashley Earle, formerly Ashley Dupré.

She was filming a fit-check while getting ready to go out. Ashley wore a blue velvet blazer and said it once belonged to her husband, Thomas “TJ” Earle. During the clip, TJ made a joking comment.

“I actually got that jacket because I saw Tom Brady wearing one like that,” he said.

Ashley asked:

“Are you joking?”

He replied:

“I swear to God.”

Ashley laughed and said:

“Are you serious? … You know what, honey, you just say the darnedest things. How ironic is that.”

The joke came days after videos of Alix Earle and Brady went viral. The two were seen together on New Year’s Eve 2025 at a club in St. Barths. Clips from December 31 showed them dancing close, laughing, and talking in each other’s ears.

In some moments, Earle was seen rubbing Brady’s back. This came shortly after Earle confirmed her split from Texans WR Braxton Berrios on December 13.

A source on Friday told Us Weekly that Earle and Brady spent the whole night together at a Palm Tree Crew party in St. Barths.

The source said they met through mutual friends and had an “instant connection” with “a lot of chemistry.” The source also said there was “nothing serious between her and Tom.”

“She’s in a phase of saying yes to fun experiences and not overthinking anything,” the source said. The source added that Brady was “hesitant” about the attention but “did not want to leave her side.”

Earle later spoke out on the rumors herself. She shared an Instagram post on Saturday with photos from the trip.

“Rumor has it we’re still dancing. New friends, new memories and new beginnings to start off the new year. Words can’t describe how amazing this trip was, so grateful,” Earle wrote.

Thomas “TJ” Earle is Alix Earle’s father. He married Ashley Dupré in 2013.
