Anthony Kim pledges LIV Golf Hong Kong winning to mental health charity

Travis Kelce crosses paths with Kai Trump amid Taylor Swift absence at Tiger Woods

Anthony Kim has pledged to donate his LIV Golf Hong Kong winnings to a mental health charity. Kim, who has struggled with mental health issues in the past, announced the news on his official social media account.

Kim is in Hong Kong for the LIV Golf Hong Kong tournament, which begins on Thursday, March 5, at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. This is the third event of the 2026 season, and Kim is part of Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces GC.

On Wednesday, March 4, Kim revealed his big decision starting from LIV Golf Hong Kong.

“My wife & I have been thinkin of how we give back 4 all the blessings we have received so starting this week @livgolf_league HONG KONG we will donate 1% of my prize money 2 supportin a mental health charity in that city so pls let us know which 1s R great organizations. @discoverylandcompany @malbongolf @4AcesGC_ @UnderArmour 1% BETTER,” he wrote.

For the uninitiated, Kim remained away from golf for over a decade before he made a comeback with LIV Golf in 2024. The three-time PGA Tour winner has previously spoken about how he dealt with addiction and mental health issues during these years.

“Everyday I chose drugs & alcohol 2 numb the pain I felt no matter what happened in my professional life & I got so good at hiding it that I lost who I was,” he said as per New York Post.

However, after years of struggle, he became sober in 2023 and returned to golf the following year. In his third season on the Saudi-backed circuit, Anthony Kim finally ended his sixteen-year-long title drought at LIV Golf Adelaide.
