“Some workouts feel as strong and fairly ‘normal’… some days don’t look or feel like this AT ALL. Listening to my body one day at a time. 🩵”

Baker Mayfield set for Year 9
Baker Mayfield is quickly approaching a decade in the NFL. The signal caller is gearing up for his ninth season in the league and third with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Cleveland Browns selected Mayfield with the first pick of the 2018 draft, and he spent four seasons with the franchise. Mayfield was instrumental in guiding the Browns to a playoff appearance in the 2020 season.
The Carolina Panthers brought in Mayfield via a trade for the 2022 season. He played seven games (six starts) for the Panthers before he was released and picked up by the injury-ravaged Los Angeles Rams. It was with the Rams that Mayfield proved that he had a future in the league.
The Oklahoma Sooners product helped the Rams to a comeback win over the Las Vegas Raiders after being inserted into the lineup. He was named the National Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts. Mayfield ended his time with the Rams with a stat line of 850 passing yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions in five games.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought in Mayfield as a replacement for the retired Tom Brady ahead of the 2023 season. He’s since earned two Pro Bowl nods and guided the Bucs to two postseason berths. Not bad for a player who got written off by the Browns and Panthers a few years ago.
