The American entertainment industry is once again shocked by the latest developments in the protracted war between two famous comedians Kat Williams and Steve Harvey, when a source close to Harvey revealed that Harvey is quietly “pulling the strings” behind the scenes of Shannon Sharpe’s legal scandal.

According to sources from within the entertainment industry, Steve Harvey is “whispering in the ear” of Shannon Sharpe, trying to convince the former NFL star that his image collapse and recent $50 million legal lawsuits are all related to Kat Williams’ explosive interview on the “Club Shay Shay” channel in January 2024.

To understand the story, we need to go back to January 2024, when Kat Williams appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast and stirred up the internet with shocking revelations about many entertainment industry figures. One of Williams’ main targets is Steve Harvey.

In the nearly three-hour interview, Williams did not hesitate to “pull out all the skeletons in the closet” of Harvey, from accusations of plagiarism, control of the industry, to abandonment of his first wife and children and many other scandals from Harvey’s past.

Williams also refuted Harvey’s story on Sharpe’s own show nine months earlier, when Harvey announced that he had given up his stand-up comedy career because he was running seven television shows at the same time.

“Steve told you that he stopped doing stand-ups because there were seven TV shows. The only problem is that when he stopped doing stand-ups, he didn’t have those seven shows,” Williams said. “He stopped doing stand-up because he lost a comedy contest with me in Detroit in front of 10,000 people.”

Initially, Harvey’s team tried to keep a “noble attitude” by claiming Harvey would not care about “baseless words” because he was only focused on spreading positive energy.

In the months that followed, however, Harvey couldn’t seem to keep his composure. At the Investfest event in Atlanta in August 2024, Harvey voiced the threat, claiming that he could still “knock out” someone who was “short and curly” – an obvious allusion to Williams.

“I still know how to turn my hips and put my weight on it, and I’m going to blow your little head away,” Harvey said, showing obvious anger.

Recently, Shannon Sharpe faced a $50 million lawsuit from OnlyFans model Gabriella Zuniga. According to sources, it was at this time that Steve Harvey approached Sharpe, trying to convince him that Kat Williams had “set a trap” for Sharpe and that the interview on “Club Shay Shay” was a “strategic ambush” aimed at ruining Sharpe’s reputation.
