Ben Griffin delivered a heartfelt message for his fans in Spanish after winning the 2025 World Wide Technology Championship. The American golfer competed in the four-day event held at Los Cabos.

He registered a two-stroke win in the tournament over Chad Ramey and Sami Välimäki. The PGA Tour shared a heartfelt video of Griffin on its X (formerly Twitter) account in which he delivered a sweet message in Spanish. He said:

“Hola, soy Benjamin. Soy el campeón del World Wide Technology Championship. Muchas gracias a todos. ¡Vamos!” (Hello, I’m Benjamin. I’m the World Wide Technology Championship champion. Many thanks to everyone. Let’s go.)

Ben Griffin was in third place after playing the first three rounds. He was impressive in the final round on Sunday and carded a 63 to jump two spots on the leaderboard and win his third PGA Tour event.

Garrick Higgo was in the lead after the third round but struggled on Sunday, when he carded a 68, and slipped down to fourth place.

Ben Griffin reflects on his third win of the year

Ben Griffin has won three PGA Tour events, all of them in 2025. He registered a one-stroke win at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in April while playing as a team with Andrew Novak, and then in May won the Charles Schwab Challenge.

In the post-round press conference after winning the World Wide Technology Championship on Sunday, he reflected on his wins this season. He said (via Tee Scripts):

“I feel like I’m getting more and more comfortable kind of down the stretch. Had been in the mix a couple times since my last win and so yeah, going into the round I felt great about my game, felt confident going into the day. It’s kind of a new situation for me being in the second-to-last group. I feel like I’ve been in a lot of final groups all season long.

“Pretty much when I had a chance to win I felt like I was in the final group. Charles Schwab, final group. Zurich, final group. Memorial, final group. Napa, final group. This was kind of the first time where I wasn’t in the final group and had a really good chance to win. So I knew I could go out there and post a number and maybe apply some pressure.”

Aside from his three wins this season on the PGA Tour, Ben Griffin has recorded two runner-up finishes. After winning the Charles Schwab Challenge, he settled for second place in his next outing at the Memorial Tournament. He carded four rounds of 65, 72, 72, and 73. He then finished runner-up at the Procore Championship.

With the win at the World Wide Technology Championship, he has earned around $1.08 million in prize money.
