How WWE RUINED Royal Rumble 2026
73-year-old Bill Belichick’s relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson might have had an influence on Hall of Fame voters.
British-American journalist Rob Shuter reported Sunday via Substack.
Decision makers of Hall of Fame candidacy openly discussed Belichick’s relationship.
“This wasn’t whispered, it was discussed,” one insider told Shuter . “People kept asking, ‘Do we really want this to be part of his legacy right now?’ The word ‘creepy’ came up more than once.”

Another voter-adjacent source believed the “timing” killed Belichick’s Hall of Fame first-ballot induction.
“If this had surfaced years after his induction, no one would care,” the source said. But voters vote on legacy, not just stats.”
A third insider spoke about the Hall of Fame voters’ discomfort level regarding Belichick’s girlfriend, who is 49 years younger than coach.
“It started to feel inappropriate to people,” the source said. “Not illegal. Not immoral. But deeply uncomfortable. And voters see themselves as guardians of the game’s image.”
Jordan Hudson’s frequent clapback at trollers on Instagram and X also became part of the discussion. It was seen negatively.
Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady made “strongest case imaginable” for Bill Belichick but it failed to shift opinions.
Amid Rob Shuter’s Substack repport, Jordan Hudson took shots at Hall of Fame committee.
On Wednesday, Hudson shared a picture on Instagram with a mail-like format.
It showed an email, which Belichick seemingly received from the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the subject line:
“Order S2062218 has been canceled.”
The email cited “unforeseen circumstances” for canceling the order and mentioned that payment had not yet been refunded.
At the bottom, a refund was indicated.
“Hall of Fame Patch x 3,” priced at $29.97,” it read.
Hudson added in the caption, “Hey, Pro Football Hall of Fame, what were the “unforeseen circumstances”? 🤣
It was a sarcastic jab at Hall of Fame’s decision-making.
Bill Belichick has a perfect football résumé. He won six Super Bowls as head coach of the New England Patriots and two more as an assistant with the New York Giants.
Belichick was eligible for the first time in 2026 but did not receive the required 40 votes from the 50-member selection committee.
Class of 2026 will be announced at NFL Honors on Feb. 5 in San Francisco.

Bill Belichick’s GF Jordan Hudson is planning huge move for coach’s supporters
Jordan Hudson will be reportedly organizing a celebration timd to the Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony, which will be held on Aug. 8.
“Jordon is planning to throw Bill a huge bash on the same day as the Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony,” the People Magazine insider said.
According to the source, those invited include “Tom Brady, Jimmy Johnson, Bill Parcels and others who were planning on attending Bill’s HOF induction ceremony in Canton.”
The insider added that Hudson is also extending invitations to “many of the outspoken supporters from the wake of Belichick’s HOF snub.”
The main agenda of the bash is to bring together Belichick’s supporters and celebrate since those who would be invited “were already planning to travel to (Canton) support Bill.”
Among the supporters, who backed Belichick after he was snubbed were Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders, NBA legend Lebron James, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and ofcourse, Tom Brady.
