Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas and Claudia Sulewski announced their engagement after seven years of dating, with the proposal taking place on their anniversary.
Finneas is about to get everything he wanted.
The music producer, who frequently collaborates with his sister Billie Eilish, is engaged to his longtime love Claudia Sulewski after seven years of dating.
In a joint post on Instagram Sept. 24, the couple—who met on a dating app in 2018—shared photos from the hilltop proposal, including a selfie of the two celebrating the milestone as the bride-to-be used her hand to cover a giggle while flashing her new cushion-cut diamond ring.
Elsewhere in the carousel, the pair shared a clip of the scenic helicopter ride to their destination, as well as a video of Finneas getting down on one knee to pop the big question.
Claudia, 29, confirmed in her caption that the proposal took place two days before she shared the news, writing, “forever and ever 9.22.”
And the date appears to hold special significance for the twosome. Three years earlier to the day, Finneas, 28, shared an anniversary post reflecting on his relationship with the YouTuber up to that point.
“You’d have to scour the globe to try to find someone equally as talented, creative and hard working as you are, my love,” he wrote on Instagram in September 2022. “Then you’d have to do it a second time to try to find someone as kind, thoughtful and generous.”
InstagramBut the Grammy winner (full name Finneas O’Connell) didn’t stop there.
“A third time to find someone as funny, a fourth to find someone as loving, a fifth to find someone as beautiful,” he continued. “How you manage to be every one of these things all at once, will forever be the impossibility of you.”
The romantic message seemed to draw an emotional reaction from Claudia, who responded to the love letter by saying, “Your vows are going to destroy me.”
