Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner set historic Grand Slam record following US Open final

Besides treating fans to another spectacle at the 2025 US Open final, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have etched their names even further in the annals of tennis history.

With the eyes of the tennis community fixed on Flushing Meadows on Sunday afternoon, the duo once again proved why they are the best players in the world. Alcaraz did not drop a set prior to the final, with Sinner being just as efficient as the World No.1 lost only two sets en route to the last match of the tournament.
Nonetheless, it was Alcaraz who prevailed at Arthur Ashe stadium on Sunday. The 2022 champion looked devastating during the intense encounter, stifling a Sinner comeback to record a 6-2 3-6 6-1 6-4 victory and lift his second US Open title.
