Deion Sanders could not contain his excitement after Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx endorsed his son, Shedeur Sanders.

On Instagram, the “Django Unchained” star, who is worth $170 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth), hyped up the Cleveland Browns rookie after he went against the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, Cam Ward, and the Tennessee Titans.

Shedeur Sanders was initially projected as a first-round pick in this year’s draft. However, he ended up going to the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round with the 144th overall pick. The quarterback spent the season as a backup option on the depth chart before making his debut during their 23-16 loss to the Ravens in Week 11.

Shedeur took to the field in the second half after QB1 Dillon Gabriel suffered a concussion. He has then replaced the ex-Oregon star as the team’s starter and secured a 24-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12. However, Coach Prime’s son lost the last two games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Tennessee Titans.

Against the Titans on Sunday, Shedeur Sanders completed 23 of 42 passes for 364 yards and four total touchdowns. He put up a better performance than Cam Ward, who completed 14 of 28 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. In the end, the Titans secured a 31-29 victory while improving to a 2-11 record.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski to continue with Shedeur Sanders as QB1 for the rest of the 2025 season

On Monday, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Shedeur Sanders will continue as the QB1 for the rest of the games this season.

He heaped praise on the rookie quarterback’s work ethic and expressed his excitement to witness Shedeur’s on-field development.

“He has constantly and consistently got better in each one of these games and how he’s approached a game,” Stefanski said. “He’s been working very hard, so I feel good about where his development in heading. He knows there is always going to be plays that he can be better and those type of things. But he’s very intentional about getting better each and every game he’s out there.”

So far in four games, Shedeur has recorded 769 yards and five touchdowns passing with three interceptions to his name.

The Browns are dead last in the AFC North with a 3-10 record and a two-game losing streak. They are next scheduled to face the Bears on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
