Dillon Gabriel’s fiancée Zo Caswell seemingly takes shots at Shedeur Sanders after Browns QB1 struggles vs. 49ers

Dillon Gabriel’s fiancée Zo Caswell, Shedeur Sanders

Dillon Gabriel’s fiancée, Zo Caswell, clapped back at a fan on TikTok following Cleveland’s loss on Sunday. She said that people inside the Browns organization want him playing instead of Shedeur Sanders.

Gabriel lost the starting quarterback job after entering concussion protocol in Week 11. Shedeur is a fifth-round pick and son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders who has started Cleveland’s last two games.

Caswell made the comments in a TikTok response after Sanders completed 16 of 25 passes for 149 yards in the 26-8 home loss to San Francisco.

“Actually everyone in the building wants him (Gabriel) to play,” Caswell wrote. “But you wouldn’t know that bc you’ve never played in the nfl or been a couch (coach) right😂.”

Another TikTok user pushed back on Caswell’s comments about internal preferences. The user noted that media reports suggest players and most coaches prefer Sanders over Gabriel.

“Cause you’re in the building everyday right?” Caswell wrote.

Gabriel started six games and went 1-5 before his concussion against Baltimore.

Meanwhile, Sanders led Cleveland to a 24-10 win over the Raiders in his first start in Week 12. However, he managed just 253 total yards against the 49ers despite throwing a touchdown and zero interceptions.

The 49ers sacked Shedeur Sanders three times for 34 yards on Sunday. Cleveland lost two fumbles in critical spots, which led to the home loss. It came despite moving the ball better than San Francisco on a per-play basis.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski named Sanders the starter for Week 14 against Tennessee (1-11). Cleveland (3-8) likely sees this phase as an evaluation for the former Colorado Buffaloes star before potentially drafting another quarterback high in 2026.
