The 2026 Cognizant Classic does not have any Monday qualifiers. The PGA Tour changed its rules for Monday qualifiers last year. It has eliminated Monday qualifiers for events with a field size of 120 players and has also reduced the number of qualifiers for big-field events.
This week, the Cognizant Classic was initially scheduled to have a field of 120, but with the addition of Brooks Koepka and two more players, the field has increased to 123. However, the tournament does not have any Monday qualifiers.
Notably, this week’s Cognizant Classic will start with its opening round on Thursday. The tournament will run for four days and will have a cut after 36 holes. The event will have its final round on Sunday, March 1.
This week’s event has a purse of $9.5 million, and the winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points. Joe Highsmith is the defending champion of the event. He registered a two-stroke win over Jacob Bridgeman and J.J. Spaun.
Cognizant Classic 2026 field
This week’s field will feature some top-ranked golfers such as Shane Lowry, Will Zalatoris, Aaron Rai, and many others. However, some big names such as Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, and Collin Morikawa are missing from this week’s field.
