Shedeur Sanders’ brother, Shilo Sanders, is still seeking his next opportunity in the NFL. The safety went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft but was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a depth safety and special teams candidate. However, he did not make the cut after getting ejected for throwing a punch at tight end Zach Davidson in the Bucs’ preseason finale.

The former NFL safety made a viral Thanksgiving prayer involving the Cleveland Browns’ latest primary quarterback.

“Look at him studying his plays and whatnot before his big game,” Shilo said. “What a good boy studying your plays, so coach Stefanski don’t get mad. “Stefanski, I even study my plaus on Thanksgiving.”

“God is great. Thank you for letting Shedeur start finally. We appreciate it. Please help him this Sunday throw for 500 passing yards (The win is more important).”

Shilo Sanders went on to make a hilarious request about his NFL career.

“Lord, please allow Shedeur to do his best so he can pull some strings to get me on the Browns too, and please make number 21 available somehow. But never mind, 28 will do. Thank you very much, Lord and Jesus’ name, amen.”

The Safety was waived by Tampa Bay during the final roster cuts. He had a workout session with the San Francisco 49ers in late September, but a deal did not materialize.

Shilo Sanders lashes out at Shedeur Sanders

Shedeur Sanders’ older brother, Shilo Sanders, wants the Browns’ quarterback to remember who paved the way for the rookie’s success. In a viral clip posted by Deion Sanders Jr., the Sanders family was hanging out when Shilo jokingly reminded the Cleveland QB not to forget where it all started.

“You can’t talk down on him like that, he’s the reason you’re in this position.” Shilo said.

Shedeur made his first NFL career start in a 24–10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Browns QB threw 11 completions of 20 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

He has the opportunity to become the first quarterback in Browns’ history to start his career 2–0 in the Super Bowl era when he takes the field against the 8–4 San Francisco 49ers at Huntington Bank Field on Sunday.
