Giants GM Joe Schoen’s daughter Sydney hits back at online troll attacking brother Carson with nepotism remark

New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen’s daughter, Sydney, stood up for her younger brother, Carson, after an online troll tried to tear him down.

The troll sent Carson a message on Instagram.

“You suck… you only playing because of who your daddy is… You’ll never make it… Trash ahh,” the troll wrote.

The message was sent after he shared photos from his football season on Monday, writing “I’ll be back.”

This came just a day after Don Bosco Prep’s (New Jersey) season ended in the state championship game. Carson, a sophomore quarterback, posted his season recap after his team lost 10-0 to St. Joseph Regional on Sunday. The defeat ended Don Bosco’s perfect season and left the school with an 11-1 record.

They reached the finals after beating Bergen Catholic in the semifinals.

Carson received praise all year for playing with confidence at such a young age, helping his team reach a top-10 national ranking.

Joe has been the Giants’ GM since January 2022. He previously spent more than 20 years working in scouting and front-office jobs with the Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.

Joe was the first of nine candidates interviewed for the role and was chosen for his progressive vision and collaborative approach to team building. He became the fifth GM in franchise history, following legends like George Young and Dave Gettleman.

Giants GM Joe Schoen’s son Carson showed support for Jaxson Dart ahead of 2025 NFL draft

Joe Schoen’s son, Carson, shared a highlight video of Jaxson Dart on his Instagram story on April 23, the night before the 2025 NFL draft. Dart was taken at No. 25 by the New York Giants.

Dart and Schoen’s daughter, Sydney Schoen, attended Ole Miss at the same time. Sydney is still a student there and Dart was the Rebels’ starting quarterback from 2022 to 2024.

The quarterback transferred from USC in 2022.
