“I hate this sh*t”: New York Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson reaches boiling point after 34-24 loss to 49ers

The New York Giants suffered another loss on Sunday as they fell 34-24 to the San Francisco 49ers at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It was the team’s third consecutive loss since staging an upset against the Philadelphia Eagles early in October.

Wan’Dale Robinson reacted to the team’s latest loss in a locker room interview after the game on Sunday. The wide receiver, who was visibly frustrated, didn’t mince words in expressing his feelings on the disappointing outcome of the encounter, as the Giants dropped to 2-7.

“I hate this shit,” Robinson bluntly said.

Wan’Dale Robinson recorded a game-high nine receptions for just 46 yards, showcasing the Giants’ struggle on offense. The team was only able to gain 296 total yards on offense in the game, but their defensive performance also played a role in the loss.

The game initially looked promising for the New York Giants as rookie quarterback Jaxson connected with Theo Johnson for a touchdown early in the game. However, the 49ers started running the show late in the first quarter and prevented the Giants from scoring until the second half.

New York Giants coach comments on what to fix after the loss to the 49ers

After suffering the seventh loss of the season, it’s clear the New York Giants need to fix something on both sides of the ball to improve their result. After conceding a couple of explosive plays against the 49ers, Giants coach Brian Daboll believes the team’s defense needs to work on making better tackles.

“We gotta keep working on our tackling,” Daboll said. “Thought we eliminated some explosive plays, which was good, but four or five in the red zone is tough to end and three of those were on third down.

“We got picked on the one with McCaffrey on the way back there. You just gotta keep working at it, making sure you’re on top of it. And whether it’s finishing catches, finishing tackles, whatever it may be, we gotta do it, we gotta continue to work on it, coach it better, and then ultimately do it on game day.”

The New York Giants face a couple of tough tests ahead, which could further ruin their season unless there’s an improvement in performance. They will be on the road against the Chicago Bears next week, before playing the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions in the next two games.
