“I hope he’s happy, I don’t wish bad upon him” – Nick Kyrgios’ ex-girlfriend offers elusive update one year on from break-up

Last year, tennis star Nick Kyrgios and influencer Costeen Hatzi broke up after enduring a three-year relationship together, with Hatzi revealing she had no regrets in supporting her ex-partner as he focused on his tennis career.

Kyrgios was always a talented player, but sometimes it would not show out. Known for his outbursts and outspoken behaviour. He also had a lot of his fans due to his personality on the court and eye-catching playing style.
At the start of 2021, he would team up with fellow countryman Thanasi Kokkinakis to become the Australian Open doubles champions, a popular win down under. He has always been touted as a brilliant grass player for many years, with him finally accomplishing his potential by reaching his first Grand Slam final at Wimbledon, unfortunately losing out to Novk Djokovic despite the Aussie stealing the first set. He would follow that up with a quarter-final at the US Open and would reach a career-high 13th in the world.

His career has stalled from then, with him having participated in one lonely Grand Slam. He did win a title at Washington in 2022, but from then on, it has been dominated by injuries and personal struggles. Throughout it was his now ex-girlfriend by his side, but rumoured disagreements and mishaps in 2023 led to the pair splitting, leaving Hatzi and Kyrgios to go their separate ways.
She had been a committed partner to Kyrgios, doing almost everything for him so he could pursue his tennis dreams. She revealed that she had ‘no regrets’ in taking this role, and when she spoke to News Corp, she stated that she had prepared herself for the break-up, with her also having to adjust and evolve from her previous way of life.
